Walking

Enjoy the beautiful guided walks through the mountains of the Lecrín Valley. Our guide will show you the best paths and tracks to experience the breathtaking views of the valley and to the take in the unique flora and fauna found in this part of rural Andalucía.
For those who choose to go walking with us, we offer three levels of hiking trips, from a gentle stroll around the village and surrounding areas to a longer, more physically demanding hike for those who prefer something more challenging.
Horse Riding

Teaming up with a local horse riding stables in the Lecrín Valley, your guide, Juan, will take you pony trekking through this stunning Andalucían valley on beautiful, well trained Spanish horses. With a choice of two routes, either 2 or 3 hours, you can take in the spectacular scenery that Granada has to offer on horseback – don’t forget your camera!
Cycling

If you like to ride a bicycle, why not accompany Juan cycling around the valley? Discover beautiful routes that will bring you to the different picturesque villages. A gentle cycle ride is the ideal time to practise your Spanish conversational skills as Juan points out various landmarks and explains a little of the history of the villages of the Lecrín Valley. There are 2 routes available, of either 1 or 2 hours duration.
Flamenco

Carmen is a “bailaora” flamenco dancer and flamenco teacher who will teach you the first “palos”, rhythms and more advanced dances in the art of flamenco.
With many years experience, Carmen teaches with patience and understanding of her pupils’ needs, and adapts the classes accordingly. The classes are separated into two levels: Flamenco for Beginners and Advanced Flamenco.

Yoga

Born in Madrid, Beatriz now lives in the small village of Nigüelas in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and has been practising and teaching Yoga for some ten years. She has a growing following of students, consisting of both local and foreign residents, adults and children.
Beatriz places special emphasis on techniques to aid breathing, concentration and the channelling of energies, and not just on the physical exercises which yoga also involves.

Cooking

Spend 2 hours learning to cook typical Spanish food. You will discover dishes such as Paella, Tortilla Espanola, or Remojón, the Andalucían dish originating from Granada province. Get to know special ingredients you only find in Andalucía or in the Lecrín Valley and use them to prepare exquisite dishes.
