ana_rojasAna Rojas is a linguist and philologist who graduated from the University of Vienna and has a Masters in Speech Therapy from the University of Catalonia. She speaks three languages fluently, Spanish, English and German, and has more than 15 years practical and theoretical experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Ana started teaching in the early 90s and 5 years ago, attracted by the orange blossom fragrance and the tranquil setting of the Lecrín Valley in Andalucía, Ana and her family moved from Madrid to the pretty village of Albuñuelas, in the province of Granada, where she has been teaching in her own unique style ever since.

Ana’s method is very personal and communicative and her philosophy is simple: She wants her students to speak Spanish from the very first lesson. Her teaching technique involves adapting herself completely to the student and their individual, educational needs. She prefers to work in small groups or on a one to one basis as small student groups or individual tuition promotes direct interaction between the teacher and the student.

Ana believes that offering extra afternoon activities, like hiking, horse riding, Spanish cooking, etc reinforces and consolidates what she teaches in the mornings and helps the students immerse themselves into real Spanish life.
